Suzanne Boone

Suzanne Boone provides support to MS and Ph.D. applicants and enrolled graduate students in the Department of Computer Science. Her main areas of responsibility lie in information/questions about the MS and PhD Graduate Program at the Northern Virginia Center Falls Church Campus including I-9 verifications for GA/GTA/GRA/faculty/staff, GA/GTA contract generation and Plans of Study processing. 

She completes the financial handling of Monthly State and VTF Fund Reconciliations for CS, ISE, and ECE. She is the NVC Communication Liaison handling Wi-Fi, VoIP, Remote Access, New Port, Room key, Voicemail for new faculty/staff as well as assists in granting student A/V access.

Previously, she worked at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, U.K., where she worked as the Course Coordinator for EPSRC Sensor CDT in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology. She has experience working with a diverse graduate student body from all over the world. She joined Virginia Tech in June 2022.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Oral Roberts University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University.
